What Are You Eating This Week?

I had so much fun the last time I got recipes from the blogosphere, so I found some more recipes to try this week on some blogs...

Tuesday: Lainie's Slow Turkey Chili

Wednesday: Cindy's Pepper and Mushroom Tacos

Thursday: Cuban Black Bean & Rice Burritos from the Simply Life blog

Friday: I think it may actually be time to get some takeout pizza again... It's been many, many, many months...

Questions:
  1. What are YOU eating this week?
  2. And for those of you who have been meaning to plan meals, how is the planning going? What's your plan for this week?
  3. For those of you joining Holly and me on our November Flossing Challenge, did you floss?

Be well,
Andrea

No planned meals for me this week- I'm just now trying to decide what to get out of the freezer for tonight's dinner....maybe something curry...or ?? all of your week's ideas sound great though.

I'll join you in the flossing challenge- I'm in!

  2. Oooh I'm excited to see the post about Thursday's meal! :) We've been on a bit of a soup kick lately so that will be making the meals this week along with something completely new, spaghetti squash! I've never made this before so it could be an interesting adventure :)

  3. Oooh, I like the bean burritos recipe. I was just searching for one last night!

Haven't quite grasped the meal planning, yet. I realized I need to narrow it down to a cookbook at a time, cuz my million binders filled with recipes is just too overwhelming!

    Happy flossing :)

This week Nick and are are eating turkey burgers, stir-fry, some egg dishes of course, and some salmon!

By the way, I flossed last night! We'll see how long this lasts....

  5. great meals!

My week is "short" in terms of planning since I'll be gone this weekend, but we had a frittata and will have leftovers tonight. Tomorrow will be tofu/veggie/pasta dish.

  7. I need to get on the ball with meal planning! I've been a slacker at that; especially with my husband home.

  8. Speaking of blogland recipes, for breakfast all week I am eating Marissa's Ginger Oat Breakfast Cookies with peanut butter. That's the only thing that will be really consistent. I have a vague notion of tofu tacos tonight, veggie burgers tomorrow and maybe some black bean soup in there somewhere. LOL! NOt exactly a plan is it?

  11. I love the floss challenge! My mother-in-law is a dental hygenist, and my father-in-law is a dentist, so I have to keep my teeth in tip top shape! Although I will admit that there are days I forgot to floss... Like this morning! Oops.

  13. No clue what we are eating this week because we haven't been to the market in a while, only for quick stops. I should probably hit that up tomorrow, but I think the shipment of food comes on Thursday. I wish I did better this week. I know I plan to make a loaf of bread this weekend with my new bread machine.

  14. Everything was going fine with me reading your post until you mention....pizza. I'm in greedy pizza recovery, ya know.

  15. I will be eating oatmeal, cereal, salad, and probably more cereal. After a few years on the meal plan, I'm really tired of the food. So I head for the cereal...but that's just fine because there's about 20 different kinds to choose from!

  16. Begining of the week I baked up a gigantic at least to me) spaghetti squash. I will be eating that for the entire week. So far I have tried:

    1) Spaghetti Squash with a bit of salt and salas

    2) Spaghetti Squash with roasted garlic spaghetti sauce, fresh basil, plus some prasmasan cheese and a crack of pepper.

    3) Spaghetti Squash with 1/2 a can of Amy's Lentil Soup (light sodium) with 1/4 avacado sliced on top.

Can't wait to come up with more ideas to use my spaghetti squash. I think it is a great way to bulk up foods.

  20. I was at the Ferry Building today and picked up a jar of pork ragu from the Boccalone store. It will be poured over pasta tomorrow night. I'm salivating already. ;)

  21. Looks good! Well, I had plans to roast a chicken (usually at least two nights dinner's worth!), but the husband made a big cajun chicken for himself so we have been doing "individual meals" this week! That means random dinners for me like tofu and sweet potatoes (stuff he won't normally eat!).
I guess we'll roast a chicken next week!
