Big Boy Lunch

Over the weekend, hubby and the teenager went out to lunch while the toddler was taking a nap, and I was catching up on work. While they didn't bring us back any food, they did bring us back some pictures... They went to a Korean lunch buffet, and from what I heard and saw, they really enjoyed their food (it seems like they eat a lot more meat when I'm not around...).

I'm glad you guys had a good lunch and some "big boy bonding" time! :o)

Question: When was the last time you had some special, one-on-one bonding time with someone special in your life?

Be well,
Andrea

  1. I'm trying to find some time during the Holiday break when my granddaughter, Audrey, and I can go to a Benehana type restaurant. She's 9 and really enjoys Asian foods and I thought she would love their performance and the food.

  3. Oh my goodness!! I want Sushi now! It's been ages since I've had it...

I'm spending lots of quality time with my loved ones this coming week. I've got lunch planned with my dad, coffee with my sister and probably taco's some night with my mom! (I'm going on VACATION!!)

  4. Since I live on an island and no other special people in my life around for miles (LOL), I would say my husband and I am happy to say we enjoy some movie watching almost every night. There is always alone time for us. But at least everyone in your family got some alone time with each other.

  5. I think hubs and I spend more quality time with our boys than we get with each other...maybe we need to fix that too!

OH I'm craving some sushi now! (oh, that's right I already was and now I am just going crazy!)

  6. I'm still flossing, first of all :) And I have to say, Nick eats much more when I'm not around too! I think he loves it that we don't spend Thanksgiving together (secretly) because he eats more! I'm onto him...

Last night I called my mom to go on a walk, randomly, and we spend about an hour walking and talking, and girl bonding! IT was nice.

  10. Last Sunday my daughter and I were stuck in traffic for 1/2 an hour because the Bombers game was just letting out. It was the best 30 minutes we have spent together in ages. We laughed and joked and made up stories about the other people stuck in traffic. It was totally great. Some times the best moments are the unexpected ones.

  11. How great that they had that time together. I really enjoy spending time with my two teen-aged daughters. They will be gone before I know it so I try and cherish each moment.

  13. Yum!!!

We took my mother out for coffee last night for some time. I am also going to go shopping with her this weekend.

I love spending one-on-one time with my hubby and make sure I do some each day.

  16. They didn't bring you back any food??!? Wahhhh.

The last time I had special time like that was when I took my good friend Donna to a media dinner with me. Nothing better than two gal pals enjoying good conversation over glasses of wine and lots of tasty food. It was a glorious evening.

  17. Ohhh boys. Look at all that galbi! The sushi looks quite yummy though! The food looks a lot like Todai's (I don't know if you're familiar with it, but it's a Korean-sushi buffet).

  18. I was lucky to spend 2 months and half with my mom and about a week with Star... these are so precious for me and I think I've made it great time for all of us (by giving up everything else that I normally do even work time).
I'm going to see them again in a month! :)
