Black and White Striped Tunic And Leggings

If you have been reading this blog for a while (or even just a few posts), it won’t come as a surprise that I’m featuring another tunic and leggings look!

Today’s tunic is striped, which shouldn’t surprise you either since I love stripes and feature them often. I sized up in the tunic; I like the slouchy look. Plus, it’s super comfortable!

Black White Striped Tunic 2

I wore the tunic last weekend when Andy and I had some time to hang out in Los Gatos after dropping off the kid at his friend’s house. Los Gatos is a cute little town with plenty of shops - including unique ones - and restaurants, wine bars, cafes and bakeries. It’s a nice place to spend a leisurely afternoon in the San Francisco South Bay area.

Black White Striped Tunic 3

The silver lace-up flats continue to be comfortable, and I love wearing them.

Black White Striped Tunic 4

I like black and white tunics so much that I’m always drawn to them. I think you really can’t go wrong with black and white as it will always be in style. Here are some tunics I really like; some of them are affordable and others are “fantasy items.”

Questions: Do you like tunics? Do you like black and white?

Be well,
Andrea

  1. Where are your stunning new glasses? I never wore tunics that much, but I'm wearing leggings more now so I think the tunics will come. It always makes me smile when you refer to you son as,, the kid,,. It sounds so funny :-) :-) :-)

    1. You are very observant, Nancy! I actually bought the white sun glasses right after we took the photos! It was getting quite warm, and we didn't feel like taking more photos at that point... That's why the photo on Instagram is just a quick selfie in the car...

When I started blogging, 7.5 years ago, "the kid" was a toddler and I referred to him as "the toddler" on the blog, so when he outgrew that stage, he became "the kid." :-)

    1. I am so happy with the silver lace ups! And it was a total accident when I came across them.... It's so funny that I had been looking for lace ups for months (and started thinking the trend would be long over by the time I got some!) and also thought adding some metallic shoes would be fun. And all that reduced from $130 to $12! :-)

  17. I don't blame you, Andrea, I love me a comfy tunic and a quality pair of leggings. Lord knows the world has seen my Yoga capris on the blog enough times to come up with that conclusion GRIN the added bonus is when said comfy tunic is also stylish, as is the case with your striped wonder over there xo

  34. I love this look on you Andrea. Tunic and leggings may well be almost a uniform for you but sometimes these things come about because they suit you so well. And those shoes, well what can I say when all I want to do is drool over them? Adorable is what they are, and yes I'll be putting these on my wishlist. Have a great weekend x

  37. You look so adorable! I love the long tunic on you with the leggings and the silver lace up shoes! My legs are not nearly as nice as yours! I am a bit shorter and my legs are thicker. So leggings are not the best look on me. Sadly. But I love tunics and you know I love black and white. My favorite is the Cable and Gage, and it's only $29! That's a steal! I might be able to get away with leggings as it's a bit longer. I love it!

    1. Thanks, Nikki! The Cable and Cage tunic is fabulous - I'm really tempted by it, too! I think it would also work very well over slim pants!

  38. First of all, look at all of the comments on this post! Yay, YOU! So proud of you. Love the setting of you pics. The silver lace shoes look so pretty in the picture with the silver lamp post or column. You really wear black and white beautifully. I think because your hair and complexion have such rosy color. I think my hair and complexion are all kind of muddy and I need color in my clothing for some pizzazz.
