Interactive (Deconstructed) Breakfast Burritos (First Video Post)

We had a lot of fun shooting the first video for this blog, even though the toddler declared at one point that he was bored… And, yes, the toddler was daring in his climbing adventures, but he is quite the pro… :-)

As the title indicates, we made breakfast burritos with three different Pace Picante sauces that I received through the Foodbuzz Tastemaker Program. In addition to the sauce, I also received a flip video camera to record the video through the Foodbuzz Tastemaker Program. Again, we had lots of fun and very much enjoyed the tasty sauces. Thank you Foodbuzz, Pace Picante Sauce, and Flip Video!

Questions: What was the last “interactive” meal that you ate? What was the last “deconstructed” meal that you ate?

Be well,
Andrea

  1. Very cute video! Your little guy stole the show!

Our last interactive meal was make your own burritos with my crock pot Mexican chicken.

I can't think of a deconstructed meal that I ate it any recent time frame.

  2. Oh Andrea, your boy is so adorable! He makes me smile. What happened was he trying to get those stuffs out of his way and waited for the right moment to throw them off...hahaha... ((hugs)) & kisses from Auntie Kristy! Your video clip looks fantastic and you look fantastic as well. ^_^ And not to forget your hubby did a great job here! Thank you for sharing and hope you're having a great weekend.

  3. Hee hee, he's a star!! I think it's so cool that 10 years from now, he can see himself on the web again.

  4. Your video was delightful! And the burritos looked so good. I think I would probably go for the Salsa Verde too.
I do deconstructed Stuffed Peppers when I don't have the time or the energy to make the real thing. I've also made Stuffed Pepper soup and include all the same flavors I love into it. Close your eyes and you'd think you were eating a beautiful bell pepper stuffed with rice and a little ground beef with tomato sauce. Yum!
My grandkids make me videos often with a Flip camera. They have no problem operating it.

  5. Oh my gosh. I can't wipe the smile off my face!! It's glued there. I don't think it will disappear for quite some time. He is just too cute!! I know I say that all the time, but watching this video really showed me just how adorable he is!! I love hearing little kids laugh, and especially when they are laughing and getting excited about cooking and eating healthy food :)

    Yeah Mushroom! Yeah Avocado!

Great video Andrea. Do more please :)

  6. Loved the video Andrea!! I don't think my daughter would have even looked at a breakfast burrito at that age, let alone try it!

I am trying to figure out what kind of accent you have??

Those burritos look delish and I love that grater. I love when cheese is sliced super thin.

  19. What a great video! The toddler is too cute and really seemed to enjoy his breakfast. My family likes tacos, but I'm not a fan of messy food so I usually steer clear. I feel like I'm missing out now, though!

PS...how do you get a video to load to the blog? Everytime I try I get an error! Thx!

  23. Please forgive me if this is a repeat comment...my internet/laptop are misbehaving (which is also why I could only view the first half of this video!).

This definitely brought a cheer to my afternoon! Love the grated cheese trick too. It's been a while since I've made an interactive meal...we had fondue earlier this summer, does that count? :)

  24. Cute! Our last interactive meal was the pizza we made. Everyone had their tasks and then we came together to layer the toppings and place in the oven. I am thinking that taco night may be in the near future.

  25. Oh my gosh! The toddler is so cuuuute!! :D Put a smile right on my face! He has the cutest giggle I've ever heard: "Are we excited?" "Yeaaaaaaaaah!" Adorable! Also, I can understand how legos would be quite a distraction! ;)

The burrito topping bar look so delicious! I want to come to your house for breakfast! :) Glad to see that hubby enjoyed it, too!
