Holiday Fun

Our holiday get-together was a success! Thanks for all your tips! I decided to keep it simple, and we all had a great time. Since things got kind of hectic, I didn’t get a chance to take pics of the food… We had ham, potato salad, a green salad, a veggie tray and dip, Anything Anytime Salsa, 5 Layer Dip , chips, baked brie, grapes, cuties, bread, crackers… Easy but tasty food.  But really, the party was about catching up with friends we hadn’t seen in a long time and enjoying each other’s company…

The toddler took care of the decorations…

The “Self-Serve Drink Station” before the ice was added:

Appetizer tray with cookies, cuties, cashews, grapes, and crackers with brie, walnut halves and a drizzle of honey.

I’m glad we decided to have this last minute get-together!

Questions: What was the highlight of your weekend? I loved catching up with old friends. Are you done with your holiday shopping? I still have a few things to get, but I’m determined not to get stressed.... Are you hosting any get-togethers soon? We are having Christmas Eve at our house, and I always make salmon. I keep things pretty low-key. The toddler gets to open a few presents on Christmas Eve. I’ll try to remember to select some that won’t make him too hyper so that he’ll sleep this year… Winking smile

Be well,
Andrea
