Sentence a Day: December 2018

Happy New Year! Here are my sentences for December 2018. Since I practiced yoga every day of the month, I didn't mention the yoga challenge very often so that I wouldn't bore you (and myself). You can read my past sentences on my Sentence a Day Page.

    1. Thanks, Jodie! I'm still adjusting to the time change... ;-)

My parents are doing okay, but it's hard to see them struggle and refuse to make any changes...

  3. That's interesting...I thought I read this and commented on it. But I don't see the comment here. Hmmmm...maybe I was dreaming.
But I'm always impressed with how you travel so far and still get so much done. Do you have a secret?? I'm such a terrible traveler!

  5. Hello and happy new year, beautiful!! I am so super proud of you and totally impressed with how much you are working out at barre! Good gravy, I was done forever with two classes. You are my hero! I cannot help but think your blood sugar reading was a fluke. So try not to worry about it and keep up the healthy life style.

So very glad you were able to spend time with your parents. They look well. I understand how hard it is to say goodbye at the end of each visit. Especially when the visits are few and far between. Glad you made so wonderful memories.

    1. Thanks, Leslie! I felt really sorry for myself regarding the blood sugar reading, but I'm over it now and am going to make some tweaks to see if they'll make a difference.

And, yes, leaving was very hard. My parents' living situation is far from ideal, and they refuse to make any changes. Not much I can do...

      Happy New Year!

  6. The German Christmas markets are so pretty! I know what you mean when you say that leaving is harder every time. I have flying visits to my mum, although it's only 250 miles away. I wish I could stay longer each time but work and other stuff gets in the way. Happy New Year!

  7. Hi Andrea, thank you for sharing the beautiful Christmas photos of Germany. One of these days I will definitely return to visit the Christmas markets myself!

i commend you on your discipline in doing barre so consistently. Did you retire from your teaching position, or is the barre job just part time? Either way, congratulations!

I'm still teaching; the job at the barre studio is just part time. I'm also taking exercise physiology classes in an attempt to explore a new field...
