  1. Love the sweater and necklace in the first pic Andrea. Another super busy, super healthy month for you - not surprised you were sore after Barre and a hike! I have just rejoined a gym that has a lot more classes so maybe I will be trying barre soon.

  6. I love your neck of the woods, and we actually lived in the East Bay in the early 80's, during one of my hubby's corporate transfer stints, which was so much fun.

Like you, I love our central California coastline, and we'll be headed there ourselves a bit later this month in our travel trailer. It's always so peaceful there compared to the more raucous beaches where I live here in Orange County.

And my father is turning 82 this year, and lives many, many miles away, though his doing not mine. I've been trying to get him to consider moving back closer so we can enjoy whatever years he has left, but so far I'm striking out.

I know life can be incredibly hard sometimes, so try and hang in there. Hugs from S. California.

  7. Having been a ballet teacher many moons ago, I would love to try a barre class. You have reminded me to book a class. I find that keeping fit and active helps with stress and it looks like you think the same. I bet you felt great after the cleanse. Nice to meet you through SaD and enjoy your May.

  10. Oh, I have so much appreciation for all of your barre workouts now that I have done one myself. The class I am taking meets on Wednesdays and is a foundations class. I was very surprised that I wasn't bedridden for days afterward. That means I must have been doing something right all this time, huh? Looking forward to going again on Wednesday.

Got a kick out of the photo of the 'kid' playing Jenga. We had a great time playing with my sister's giant Jenga game when I visited her in April.

Love the ducklings. Reminds me of the very old children's book, Make Way for Ducklings and the ducks that walk the Peabody Hotel in Memphis where I grew up. Fond memories.
