Meal 2: Lentil/veggie soup.
Meal 3: Carrot soup with black rice.
Meal 4: Veggie stir fry with over-easy eggs.
Meal 5: Leftovers.
Questions: What was the highlight of your weekend? Is Dishcrawl in your city? What’s on your menu this week?
Be well,
Andrea
All the restaurants were great, and I look forward to visiting them again.
ReplyDeleteIt's a deal! :)
DeleteGreta,
DeleteIt`s a good idea people enjoyed food together, the food looks very good.Sorry in my town there is no Dishcrawl.
Today my meal was cauliflower gratin and potatoes.
This restaurant tour sounds like so much fun! I love the photo montage (especially the kid eating pizza off the edge of the plate - too cute!). It sounds like you had a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteOn our menu this week is oven-fried chicken (Peter is excited about that one, lol) and some bean curries and soups. Can't wait ;)
Yes, it was a lot of fun, and the kid especially enjoyed the pizza! :)
DeleteYour meals sound good!
We have that in Chicago, but I don't know. I now live 55 miles NW of the city, and while that doesn't seem too far, I only get down there a few times a year - luckily my daughter lives in Chicago so I get down there more often - I miss seeing her face everyday!
ReplyDeleteAlthough, now that I have an iPhone, we can face talk which I can't wait to do - I was never able to set up skype on my computer right!
We live about 45 miles from San Francisco, and we don't make it there very often either...
DeleteEnjoy the new phone and seeing your daughter! :) It's so strange when they grow up...
I can't believe how grown-up the kid is! Wow!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of fun :) I need to menu plan today, actually. I think tonight we might be having leftovers from enchiladas over the weekend!
Leftover enchiladas sounds delicious!
DeleteAnd, yes, the kid is growing up soooo fast... I just can't stop him! ;)
How fun!!! I don't think we have that but an adventure for you! :) I was just happy to have better weather this past weekend.. & my treat cookies! :)
ReplyDeleteBetter weather and treat cookies sounds perfect! :)
DeleteI wish we had Dishcrawl... what fun!
ReplyDeleteYes, it was lots of fun!
DeleteI used to live right next to Mountain View (in Los Altos)! Now, I'm homesick ;) Glad you had fun.
ReplyDeleteIt was a lot of fun! Sorry I made you homesick!
DeleteI have never heard of dishcrawl. That sounds right up my alley!! I don't know if they have it in Vegas. I will have to check it out!
ReplyDeleteLove what you have planned for the week!
It looks like there aren't any scheduled Dishcrawls in Vegas right now, but they do have private ones.
DeleteLooks like a cool concept, and you got to try out some great meals!
ReplyDeleteYes. We loved the tasty small plates.
DeleteThat looks like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteHiking was the highlight of my weekend! It's so nice to be outside again and I look forward to Spring!
Loved the hiking pics!
DeleteWhat a great idea! We have one soup on the menu this week - minestrone soup.
ReplyDeleteMinestrone sounds good!
DeleteI've never heard of Dishcrawl but it sounds awesome! And oxtail soup sounds brave! I had it once at a restaurant and it was delicious!
ReplyDeleteYes, Dishcrawl is great!
DeleteOxtail soup is very popular in Korean cuisine, but it's not something I every thought of making. However, I recently became really interested in making bone broths. I actually made the bone broth (and the oxtails) in the slow cooker. It turned out very good, but I wasn't too fond of the smell while cooking it all day... Definitely not the pleasant smell you get when you make chicken stock...
Oh, I love soups all winter. They feel sort of like a warm cozy bathtub when they go down. :D
ReplyDeleteThe Dishcrawl food looked fabulous! You look great in those pictures too. :D
:-) Marion
Yes, I love eating soups! :)
