The bagels were huge, and half a bagel was more than enough per person…

I introduced the teenager to smoked salmon when he was a toddler, and he loved it immediately, and we had bagels and smoked salmon on special occasions for breakfast when he was little. I remember attending a wedding with him when he was about 5 and everyone marveling at the amounts of smoked salmon he was eating and how much he loved it… I rarely buy bagels and smoked salmon anymore, so the teenager was thrilled when he got to enjoy one of his childhood special occasion breakfasts. I love how food brings back memories…
Questions: What is your favorite breakfast from your childhood? What memories does it bring back? Do you sometimes still eat your favorite childhood breakfast?
Be well,
