Fig Banana Soft Serve to Stay Cool

I’m right now “over” my summer clothes and am really looking forward to hearty soups and stews. But temperatures have been in the 100s this week, so I wore summer dresses and shorts and ate salads and raw veggies and fruit. I’m sure fall will get here soon enough.

I also remembered that banana soft serve is a great way to stay cool, and I hadn’t made a banana soft serve in a really long time. I always have frozen bananas in the fridge (sliced). I added a few figs and some Greek yogurt, and the result was delicious.

Questions: Have you ever had banana soft serve? Do you like it? What’s your favorite food at the moment? What fall foods are you looking forward to the most? What fall clothes are you looking forward to wearing the most?

Be well,

  1. I love banana soft serve! This one looks wonderful - I love that you added figs.

    1. Thanks, Pam!

I love the taste & the color the figs added.

  2. This looks delicious AND so healthy! It's great to see a recipe for an ice cream type dessert that isn't full of sugar.

    1. Thanks, Alecz! I love it because it tastes much more decadent than it is! :-)

  3. This looks scrumptious, Andrea! So nice to see something healthy that actually tastes good. :)

  4. Making soft serve ice cream is a bit more tedious than making the normal ice cream at home. If you have a soft serve ice cream machine, creating soft serve ice cream is a cinch. But if you have no ice cream maker, there is a little more work that's needed, but it's still a fun activity, and you'll love the results!
