Sentence a Day: October 2017

I first joined Sarah and Leslie in writing one sentence a day in January, and this is my tenth sentence-a-day post. You can read my January sentences here, my February sentences here, my March sentences here, my April sentences here, my May sentences here, my June sentences here, my July sentences here, my August sentences here, and my September Sentences here.

October was a very emotional month, and I tried to stay calm and sane by working out as much as possible.  There were also several birthday celebrations and some other fun events. But I'm looking forward to a hopefully calmer and more settled November.

October 9, 2017
Since the kid has minimum days all week, I wasn't able to take a barre class at lunchtime, so I went in the evening, and I liked it much better than I thought I would.

  5. Congratulations on doing so, so well on your barre challenge! And I love the way you put your pleather outfit together. I have pleathers as well, which, hello, love, and they can be worn so darn many ways! Haven't seen a woman in them yet that didn't look great in fact!

  6. So PROUD of you with your dedication to the barre classes. I am going to look for a Groupon for classes here. Thank you for the inspiration.

Hope you are feeling better, emotionally and physically. I can't imagine the devastation from the fires. And then to learn the cause was intentional? Did I hear that right? Arson? This world.

Boy, do you set a lovely table. Wish I could get over being so timid about entertaining. Not sure who we would entertain anyway but maybe I could make some friends!!

Love your new Halloween decoration, glad the 'kid' enjoyed his birthday. Hope November is a gentler month for you. XO

  11. You make me want to take Barre...love it. I do revamped version of barre I guess? We don't use a barre, like in ballet, but a weighted stick and use that for balance when needed. I think they call in barre fusion? I love groupon, when you buy it makes you feel like you have to take advantage :)
