A few weeks ago, we spent a relaxing afternoon at one of our favorite Livermore Valley Wine Country wineries. We enjoyed barbecued food, a little wine and some corn hole. I remember years ago, when we were younger, a visit to wine country always meant stopping by multiple wineries. But as we are getting older, one winery is enough…
I decided to wear a striped skirt that I bought last year on clearance and hadn’t worn yet. The skirt has grey and off-white stripes, and I was a bit uncertain what to pair it with. In the end, I decided on a black t-shirt, but I look forward to experimenting a bit more. Let me know if you have any ideas in the comments!
For a bit of color, I added red accessories: a red necklace, red sandals, and a red bag.
I’m not sure why I decided to play corn hole with my bag on my shoulder...
Be well,
Andrea

Since I'm a huge lover of color, Andrea and the stripes are neutrals, I think any bright color would look nice! Your bright green t-shirt, a red shirt or even a fun blue!!
ReplyDeleteHow fun to spend the day at the winery!!

Yes, I think I'll wear it with a bright color next! Someone on IG suggested tangerine, and I now think I may have to get a tangerine top... ;-)
DeleteLove the asymmetrical stripes! I think you could pair almost any color with that skirt! I agree with Jodie, something bright would be perfect for summer!

Thanks, Mary!
DeleteLove these stripes - and the length is so perfect. So many colorful tops would be great, or a tank and cropped jacket/cardi. Great find! xox

DeleteI think any solid color top would go well with your skirt Andrea. Pick a color that you like and you can even match it with shoes.
