Red Accessories to Dress Up Jeans and A Cardigan

A few weeks ago, I posted about how I dressed up jeans and a cardigan with a multi-strand big pearl necklace, rose gold flats, and a statement bag.

This time, I dressed up the same jeans and cardigan with red flats and a red necklace. I love that we caught the cherry blossoms while they were in full bloom when we took these photos. Sadly, they are already gone by now...

Outfit Details*: Jeans, Long Cardigan, Red Flats Mango old (I like these red Mango flats).

This casual outfit is very me - comfortable yet I feel put together. It’s perfect for working from home, running errands and chauffeuring the kid around.

Question: What’s your go-to casual outfit?

Be well,
Andrea

On a totally different note. Can you tell me about the sentence a day post? Is it to go live on April 1 or 2?? Thanks!!

  4. I really like the red accessories with this! :) My go-to casual outfit at the moment is shorts and a kimono, haha! I feel like I'm just rotating through that or a maxi skirt day by day, but it's easy with the heat!

Hope you are having a great weekend!

  5. Those trees were such a delightful frame for your go-to outfit. My favorite go-to outfit? Hmm, probably a tee and cardi and jeans. Sometimes with flats, sometimes heels, boots, or Converse.

  6. I can't believe your cherry blossoms are done blooming already. We still have snow on the ground here. I'm beginning to understand why Californians look so forward to fall every year. You get spring started so much earlier than the rest of us! Love your outfit. The red shoes are so cute!

    1. Yes, after 25 years living in California, I still get surprised every year by how early cherry trees, daffodils and tulips bloom... And, yes, we are always anxious for fall... September is often VERY hot, and there is just no way we can wear any real fall clothes for any length of time until mid to late October... I sometimes cheat and wear a fall outfit to teach an early morning class. But then I go home and change for the rest of the day...

  9. It's wonderful how a pop of red can really lift a casual outfit. The shoes are adorable and so versatile too.

My current go-to casual look is all based around my favourite camo jeans. They're just like any old jeans and seem to go with anything.

Have a great week Andrea x

  17. Hi Andrea, just popping by! You look great in jeans and I think I remember you mentioning you were tall as well, right? Love the red shoes and necklace with your black cardi, I just bought a pair of red sandals! In DC, the frost and cold weather had killed off the cherry blossoms, but having a great time anyway.. glad to see pics of your in bloom
