Boho Top

I love my Boho top. It’s made of very thin cotton and has a beautiful embroidery on the top (which you can’t see since it’s covered up by the scarf). It’s a great, light top, and I find it keeps me cooler than a shorter sleeve top. It is part of my travel wardrobe as it goes with a variety of the bottoms I’ll bring.

It was actually quite windy (and therefore somewhat cool) on the day I wore the top, and I was happy I wore the scarf. I’m currently debating whether to bring the scarf on our trip as it really doesn’t exactly fit into my travel wardrobe color palette, but I love it with the top (plus, it would go with the black/white outfits)… We’ll see.

  1. I say take the scarf! You can wear it on the plane for warmth and even as a belt with a maxi! Takes up no space at all! On warm days, a gauzy top or tunic - nothing tight. I prefer linen blends and cottons. I tend to gravitate to sleeveless and layer a denim jacket if needed in the mornings and evenings. Great photos!

    1. You know, it's funny because I usually wear the top with a scarf, which covers up the embroidery. I should really change that! :-)

    1. Yes, a scarf is so important, especially on an airplane. I've a blue/white one for the airplane, but I did end up bringing this one, and I'm glad I did! :-)

  19. Very cute look, Andrea. And that really is a great scarf! I would take it with you. You can always just tie it on your bag if there's no room to pack it! Even in a gauzy material, I get super hot with a 3/4 or long sleeve. So I usually stick with short sleeve or tank tops. But I definitely love 3/4 sleeves when it cools down a bit!

    1. Thanks, Shelbee! I'm wearing more and more 3/4 sleeves when it's hot and for some reason really like it... Last year I traveled with a long sleeve very thin striped blouse, and it was pretty much all I wore!

  23. Andrea I also find that wearing 100% cotton tops really helps to keep me cool and protects me from the sun. Mostly I just try to stay out of that mean old sun. But what can you do? Summer is here! Your scarf is also very pretty.

  24. I love your top! The style is perfect. I don't like my arms, so this would be the perfect option for me, and other women like me who have the same issue. Plus it looks cool and stylish! I love the scarf, you look so good in them!

    1. Thanks, Nikki! I feel more and more comfortable when I cover my arms, and, in the process, I have found that a thin, loose material around my arms actually keeps me cooler!
