Palazzo Pants

Marimekko Palazzo Pants

A few weeks ago, I picked up the Marimekko for Target Palazzo pants. The colors fit into my travel wardrobe, and I love the print and colors. Plus, I was very happy that they are long enough!

WideLeggedPants03

The pants are thin and keep me cool on a warm day. When I wore them for the first time, I decided to wear them with my Trina Turk Accomplice Top. But I think next time I’ll wear something more formfitting on top to balance out the wide pants.

Conscious Cleanse Update

We are done with the Conscious Cleanse. Overall, the cleanse went well, but Andy did get a bit of “cleanse fatigue” toward the end of the cleanse. I think one element that made the cleanse easier for me than past cleanses was the variety of foods we ate. Here are a few of the foods we ate. I will share some recipes soon.

Slow Cooker Pulled Chicken

Raw Blueberry Pie

Lamb Chops
Lamb chops

Poached Lemon Chicken (so flavorful and so easy - basically just poach chicken in a mixture of olive oil and lemon juice)

Questions: Do you like palazzo pants? Do you own any? What have you been eating lately?

    1. Thanks, Greetje! I just recently started wearing maxi dresses, skirts, and palazzo pants when it's hot. It's so much cooler than short skirts or shorts!

  14. I've never tried Palazzo Pants - in fact I have not experimented much with different styles as I never ever wore pants until just over two years ago as I was a skirts/dresses only person. My pants tend to be black dress pants for the office but I hope to try different styles in the future.

You certainly look good in those pants!

  16. I don't own any, but I do like them, I am usually just too short for wearing them and they end up looking ridiculous on me. Like I have to cut off so much that it cuts of the cutest stuff on the bottoms. They look great on you!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I can totally see that it wouldn't work if you had to cut too much off. (And I also know that they often don't work for me because they are just an inch or so too short and look "funny!.")

  17. Love palazzo pants! They are super comfy for the heat. I've been eating a lot of eggplant strangely. I had a grilled eggplant wrap from Trader Joe's for lunch and later I'll have eggplant parmesan. Can't get enough of it!

  29. Andrea, these pants are like a thing of my dreams! I love palazzo pants and this print is just everything! I am in a state of swoon! I actually really like to pair palazzo pants with a flowing top too. For me, I think those proportions work. Although, a fitted top with the loose fitting pants is always nice, too. Depends on my mood! Regardless of my mood, you look smashing in these lovely pants!
