Another Look at the Trina Turk Accomplice Top

Trina Turk Accomplice Top

I still love my Trina Turk Accomplice Top. Last time I wore the Trina Turk Accomplice Top with a black blazer.

This time I wore the top to a trip to the Farmers’ Market. I paired it with capris and a black and white neck scarf. I also carried my Coach Pebble Satchel. It’s a great little purse that holds a LOT of things.

Perfect Black Travel Top

I love the Trina Turk Accomplice Top because it is comfortable and loose but not too loose. Plus, it drapes well. It truly is the perfect black top. In fact, it’s the only black top I’ve been wearing since I got it in March… I like that I can wash it in the washing machine using the delicate cycle and then hang it up to dry. It comes out perfectly every time.

I know I’ll take it on our summer vacation and will get a lot of wear out of it. My travel wardrobe is neutrals (denim, black, white, grey, and some colorful accessories), so it'll go with all skirts and pants. Plus, it's plain enough not to stand out too much, so people (hopefully) won't say, "Oh, she is wearing THAT top AGAIN!"

  6. I do love Trina Turk's clothing---and this top has such a nice neckline instead of the usual scoop or crew neck.
I had to laugh when you said the last comment about "oh, she's wearing that top again"---because my husband and I laugh that probably no one really notices what we wear ---they are too busy looking at their phones!!
And I totally agree with Pam---you have a great smile!

    1. You are right, people are usually too busy with their own lives to pay attention to what we are wearing... :-) But I do remember one particular vacation where I decided to take all my brightly colored tees (I don't own many and I took every one I owned). Not a very good idea as I felt very self-conscious wearing the same tees over and over...

And aren't neck scarves fun? Happy Friday!

  20. All of my "go to" tops are black. Well, all of my "go to" tops, pants, jackets are black! Throw in a cool scarf or accessory and you have an outfit! LOL I love the shape and drape of this top, I can see how you will get so much wear out of it. I could see it fitting into my wardrobe easily! I love the way it looks on you!

    1. Thanks, Nikki! Black is such an easy color. The majority of my travel wardrobe will be black. I know some people say it's boring, but, as you said, you can always make it look different and interesting with accessories!
