In and Around the San Francisco Ferry Building

Yesterday, my mom and I went to the San Francisco Ferry Building. It was raining a bit, but we very much enjoyed the Farmers’ Market outside of the Ferry Building as well as all the shops, sights, and sounds inside the Ferry Building. Here are some photos of our walk from the car to the Ferry Building, the Farmers’ Market stands, some views inside the Ferry Building, and our walk back to the car.

    Friends of ours live in San Rafael in Marin and we love visiting them and Napa and Sonoma too...wow. One day we'll be back :) Thx for the gorg pics!

  4. Oh I love the SF Ferry Building! I have never actually bought produce from that market, but I love seeing all the stalls and restaurants there. There is a great little Mexican place along the water that is very yummy.

    Sounds like you are having a wonderful time with your mom! Too bad about that squash in the CSA delivery. I would be so mad! That happened to me last week with a bell pepper from Trader Joe's and I took it back!

  6. Looks like a great time! Al the fresh produce looks amazing. Despite the rain, it's still fun to get outside and shop for good food. We just have snow here, no rain!
    The best part of my weekend was just relaxing and not really doing anything. I did catch up with some friends and my own mother last night. We went to Whole Foods and ate dinner and did some FODMAPS shopping, haha, she needed some advice because she misses wheat! I think I helped.

  14. So jealous of your food choices!

    My favourite part of my weekend was curling up on the couch for a movie with my girl. Even at thirteen, I can get a good long cuddle out of her sometimes. Not often though so that's what makes it special.

  15. Cheese! Bread! Tasty pictures.

    I was sick all weekend but I got to see a visual art show, and take the boyfriend out for a birthday dinner at a great French restaurant, and then he made chicken soup for me and my mother dear made me beef stew and fresh bread, so all of those things really made up for having a sniffly nose!

    Weekends should be full of fun :)

  17. So jealous of an outdoors market in February! I am actually going to a "winter" farmers market near Chicago this Saturday - not sure what it will be though since nothing grows here in the winter!
