“Real Breakfast”

The teenager asked this morning if we could have some “real breakfast.” So after I drank a couple big glasses of green juice, I made some “real breakfast” for him and hubby. I started by sautéing some onions, mushrooms & an organic, spicy sausage that I had in the freezer. I also made some scrambled eggs. I took a shortcut on the waffles and just toasted some organic whole wheat waffles that I had in the freezer.

Real Breakfast 01

Hubby and the teenager liked their “real breakfast.” :o)

Yesterday, Diana from A Little Bit of Spain in Iowa looked into the refrigerators of some fellow bloggers, including mine. It’s fun looking into others’ fridges, so why don’t you head over there and check it out… And while you are there, check out Diana's blog. Diana focuses on eating organic, locally grown food as well as growing and preserving her own fruits and vegetables. Plus, she shares wonderful stories. I'm looking forward to trying out some of her canning and preserving recipes next year. She has been nominated for several Foodbuzz Awards, so keep her in mind when you are voting!

Questions: What did you have for breakfast today? What is the most interesting item in your fridge right now?

Be well,

Andrea
